Submit a portfolio that includes the following:

1. A sample of your work

Submit one or more pieces that demonstrate your interests, creative voice, or intellectual curiosity. Your work can take any form relevant to your practice or area of interest, including but not limited to: creative or critical writing, poetry, short fiction or non-fiction, essays, blogs or websites, photography, film or video, audio works, podcasts, digital design, social media content, animations, or documentation of physical works such as artworks, sculptures, or community/cultural projects. Work produced in an academic setting, independently, or within a community context is all welcome.

2. A personal statement that includes:

   • An About You section: your interests, motivations, hopes, and ambitions
   • What you hope to gain from studying a Bachelor of Arts, and any future directions you are curious about pursuing
   • Why you feel you are a good fit for this course
   • A short description to contextualise your sample work
   • A brief account of any paid or voluntary work, hobbies, awards, or study experiences that have shaped your readiness for further education — including skills you developed from each. Where relevant, include documentary evidence or letters of support for sustained engagement with community, cultural, or volunteer organisations

3. A note on use of AI and third-party material

If Generative AI tools assisted in producing any of your submitted work (e.g. to brainstorm, generate images, process audio), please note this in your portfolio. Similarly, if your work draws substantially on third-party material, please acknowledge this.

• How the presented examples demonstrate your readiness to study a Bachelor of Communication and Media.
