We Must Remove The Letter A is a lipogram poem, which tells the story of a fictitious corrupt government banning certain letters from everyday speech. Whenever a letter is banned by the fictitious government, that letter is also removed from the poem itself, making the story gradually more difficult to understand as the poem progresses. This highlights the impact that censorship has on the way we express ourselves as people.
