In this character-driven short-story, an older woman attends the funeral of her ex-husband. Despite his outward image as a brilliant, urbane artist, this woman knows his darker side, and is determined to enter his funeral tearless and vindicated. But she isn't. Between love and hate is a small inkling of affection, and in death, grief.
