This design profoundly reflects Australia's intrinsic bond with its land, emphasizing the deep relationship between native flora, fauna, and cultural values. For Australia鈥檚 First Nations peoples, the land is a living entity, rich with spiritual and ancestral significance. The design features native species such as wattle, bush bells, bird of paradise, and banksia, each deeply woven into Indigenous cultural narratives and practices. The wattle, a national symbol, embodies the enduring relationship between the people and their environment, representing resilience and adaptability.
