WORMS evolves from young people's perspectives in a moment between birth & death; a substantial moment when the recognition of uncertainty and vulnerability is challenged by the need to control or somehow relieve the anxieties of personal desires, impulses & circumstances. Metaphors abound in this complex weaving of lives caught in the backstage of life before stepping into the spotlight. The play has a raw, youthful daring in its challenge to audiences to see behind the facade of compliance by generally "good" students when their compliance and role-playing in the public arena is tested.
