LOOK WHAT YOU MADE ME DO

96鈥�000 consists of five ceramic 鈥榳ife beater鈥� singlets. The idea for the 鈥榳ife beater鈥� comes from my concept of domestic violence. In the centre of each is a logo saying either 鈥榣ook what you made me do鈥� or 鈥業 never meant to hurt you鈥�. These are phrases which are stereotypically heard after domestic violence has occurred. In the middle of the logo is the number 96,000, this is the number of recorded cases of domestic violence against Australian women in the year starting in March 2023 and ending in March.
