I had the amazing opportunity of being able to see Taylor Swift perform at Accor Stadium in Sydney earlier this year. Despite not ever sewing before I challenged myself with the task of designing and making my concert outfit. One of Taylors songs is called Midnight Rain and I drew my inspiration from that. This skirt has a detachable umbrella (PVC) peplum filled with poly fill to look like clouds, and attached crystal beads to resemble rain drops. Underneath is a floor-length straight skirt in a navy fabric.
