Art Deco Card Deck

My project is a card deck inspired by the Art Deco movement, including face cards and packaging mock-up.
This design altered elements of the Art Deco style, toward a modern-day audience. These are complex designs, targeted at young adults. I aimed to implement these elements into today鈥檚 popular styles, creating a monochromatic, colourful aesthetic. It is important that Art Deco is used today as it preserves the style and introduces it to new audiences.
Colour was key to this project. I used multiple shades of one colour to create dimension, and add emphasis without overcomplicating the design
