In Eternal Weave: The Entanglement of Fig and Serpent, I explore the interconnectedness of life, death, and regeneration through the fusion of natural and mythological elements. The strangling fig, with its intricate network of roots, symbolizes symbiosis and the complex dependencies in nature, while the Norse Midgard Serpent, Jormungand, represents the cyclical nature of existence, encircling the world in myth. By merging these two forms, I aim to evoke a sense of the universe's perpetual flow, using detailed line work to reflect the entanglement of natural forces.
