The Omen

This Piece is about corruption. Something is deeply wrong about the painting, something that makes the audience feel uneasy. That something lies beneath the surface and is waiting to burst free. The name plays a role in this unease as well, the Omen shows the fly on the surface of orange which is a warning that something is lurking. the little piece of mold peeking out from the bottom shows that 鈥榯he rot鈥� has set in.
