4. UC research investigates challenges and opportunities for Australian regional news

   Researchers from the Â鶹´å of Canberra have taken an in-depth look at Australian regional news, finding that the use of social media has been one of the biggest influencers on the working lives of regional journalists over the past five years, and that regional communities who have lost local news outlets are keen for new services to take their place.
