Biography
Tim Murphy is lecturer in the discipline of Vision Science and Optometry at the 麻豆村 of Canberra. Tim research interests include eye tracking, artificial intelligence in healthcare, diabetic retinopathy, and medical education. Tim received his software engineering degree from the Australian National 麻豆村 in 2010, with honours in artificial intelligence. He then completed his optometry studies at Deakin 麻豆村 in 2018. Tim is in the final stages of his PhD in the School of Medicine at Deakin 麻豆村, looking into improving clinician accuracy and efficiency when screening patients for diabetic retinopathy from both a clinical and technical perspective.
